Seasonal yard tip.
I wanted to remind you to winter water your lawn, trees and shrubs. Although our winter started out nice, snowy and wet, we haven’t received much in the last 6-8 weeks. So to avoid getting a mite problems in your lawn (especially south facing slopes) like many people had last year, all you need to do is soak your lawn a couple of times per month between now and spring to help avoid them. Don’t turn your sprinkler system on, but get the garden hose out, put a sprinkler on the end and soak. It is also very important to deep water shrubs and trees through dry parts of the winter. Your trees and shrubs can also be significantly damaged if the roots dry out during the winter.
Four Weeks Left for a discount:
Spring is just around the corner now and come March we will be extremely busy. When we get so busy the discounts for all of the landscape and clean-up jobs we have been doing will go back to normal pricing. Those jobs will go back to full price in March, so if you have big or small jobs you want done for spring, now is the time to get them scheduled. Our rate for clean-up and landscape jobs is normally $60/hr and is only $45/hr through the winter. That is 25% off! So let us know asap if you need anything done!
Free yard clean-up and makeover:
We are scheduled (Weather permitting) to complete our yard clean-up giveaway to a Thornton resident this Saturday February 4th from 8am – ?. We are excited to give something back to our community and help someone in need. We will have some before and after photos as well as pictures of the job in progress on our website next week. If you are interested in helping out, we are still in need of a few more volunteers. We will feed you and give you a surprise if you come help! Please email or call if you can help.
Greetings! I hope you are doing well and having a wonderful Holiday and Christmas season.
I wanted to let you know that we didn’t get any entries for our yard clean-up giveaway. I was very surprised, but I guess we just have a group of very humble customers who may not want to nominate themselves or someone they know for this free service. Anyways, we would really like to give this service away, so I will be coming up with another shot at a giveaway in the coming days.
Since we still have snow on the ground, we have some time in the schedule over the next two weeks to do some much needed pruning, on your shrubs and lower parts of your trees. If you have bushes that are out of control, or if you have trees that smack you or us in the face when your lawn gets mowed, now is the perfect time to take care of them. If you have tall ornamental grasses, we can take care of them for you at the same time. So take advantage of our discounted yard clean-up rate that is normally $60 per hour and is $45 per hour during the winter. If you have any questions about availability or pricing for these services, please reply to this email.
